Aid for Burma - How You Can Help

The Causeway at dimplemoon.com is dedicated to creating awareness and change for causes both humanitarian and environmental. With the disasterous aftermath of tropical cyclone Nargis, which devistated Myanmar and left 2.4 billion of it's people in an ocean of need, I decided to do a bit of research to find out which aid agencies are active in Myanmar, and how we can contribute to their overwhelming task.

Union Aid Abroad - APHEDA, the Australian Trade Union’s foreign aid organization, is taking donations which will go directly toward providing vital relief in the form of clean water, food, shelter, medical supplies and assistance. This work is already underway by affliated groups on the ground in Myanmar.
